The West of England South Road Combine is one of the major organisations in the UK providing pigeon racing for 150 members in Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Somerset and Bristol. We organise races from or near the south coast of England and from the western side of France between April and September each year. We are proud to count amongst our members many of whom have become household names throughout the UK and Europe, winning long distance races at both National & International level against upwards of 20,000 birds.

Unfortunately, our Sport has been delivered a blow by government regulations and it has become virtually impossible for ‘local’ organisations like us, to organise races from the E.U. Only the large specialist clubs have the finances and resources to do so. We are now only able to organise races from the Continent in conjunction with those specialist organisations. In 2024 we will have four races from across the Channel with the help of the CSCFC, BBC and BICC.In addition we will provide for 13 inland races for old birds and 8 inland races for young birds.

The Combine currently comprises of 12 local clubs from Cheltenham in the north to Crewkerne in the south and Chippenham in the east. Other areas catered for are at or near Yate, Bristol, Bath, Midsomer Norton, Glastonbury and Crewkerne.

Pigeon racing is a marvellous hobby for families and people of all ages; we would invite anyone who feels they would like to become involved to contact any of the local clubs for advice, contact details of which appear later, on this site, we are sure you would be made most welcome.
